WebJan 29, 2014 · After adjusting many, many settings on the computer, I have finally found the solution that worked for me: Reset the settings on the monitor itself. I am using a "Philips 230E" monitor, and as soon as I went into the settings and "reset", all the white "shadows" disappeared! Hope this helps. 6 people found this reply helpful.
