This develped recently where I would be accelerating lightly up to 40MPH, then seemingly, when the transmission is shifting between 4th and 5th it will shudder as if stuck "in between" gears unless I either give it a bit more gas or let off. Seems to me something to do w/ the electronic torque converter and/or the VCM ... WebFeb 16, 2024 · Wife picked up a 2013 crv last year. Recently it started to kinda shudder hesitate when lightly accelerating at low speed. It has progressively grown worse. I went online and most were saying clean the egr valve. Clogged ports common especially if driven by elderly person. The previous owner was elderly.

I have an '07 V6 TRD-OR 4X4 double cab and the last week or so it has developed a light but noticeable shudder when accelerating from a stop. Hard to pin down the exact conditions, but it seems to happen around 1500 RPM at around 20 MPH.
